Bradwell Windmill

Bradwell Windmill

New Bradwell Heritage Group was formed in September 2005 with a view to sharing the history of New Bradwell.

The village was developed in 1858 by the London and North Western Railway Company. They were desperately searching for land needed to build houses for future employees as an inducement to move into the area to work at Wolverton Railway Works.

The aim of New Bradwell Heritage Group is to gather as much information as we can of  New Bradwell’s development over the years. We would like to hear the memories and recollections from people, old and young, who experienced growing up and living in the village.

In order to develop the site further, we would like to hear impressions from those who have moved into New Bradwell and we would welcome any photographs you are willing to share.

Email New Bradwell Heritage Group with your story. We are keen to hear the thoughts.
